There is currently no standard for newborn screening in Canada. Newborn screening and follow-up care is not consistent across the country. Donations to Save Babies Through Screening Foundation of Canada will directly benefit the cause and the children affected by newborn screening disorders. To read more about our mission, click here.

Fundraising Events
The need for continued awareness of newborn screening has created another important need - funding. We ask advocates to hold fundraisers to benefit Save Babies Through Screening Foundation of Canada's ongoing mission to improve the lives of babies through prevention of neurological impairments, physical disabilities and death caused by disorders detectable through newborn screening. Fundraisers could be holding an event such as a walkathon, yard sale, community yard sale, golf tournament, softball tournament, or simply passing out our general purpose fundraising flyers.
