Education - Research and Out-reach

Save Babies Through Screening Foundation of Canada is currently looking for individuals who are interested in:

Research:

• Researching information related to the disease descriptions, support groups in Canada, etc.
• Developing items for publication to our website (such as, educational materials, related articles, news clips, family stories, etc.)

Out-reach:

• Distribution of educational materials developed by Save Babies Through Screening Foundation of Canada to various places of business in your community to educate the general public and professionals about our Foundation and our mission
• Public speaking - Be apart of our Speakers Bureau and attend prenatal classes in your community to educate 'parents to be' about our mission and issues surrounding newborn screening in Canada

All volunteers must be able to communicate fluently in English or French.

Start date: within the next two months
Commitment requisition: 1 year
Location: Anywhere in Canada - This position does not require you to reside in the Ottawa area.
